Hiking the trails on the Moselle

The Moselle river is lined with sunbathed vineyard terraces on one side and steep slopes on the other. The river winds and bends through primal countryside landscapes. Hikers typically enjoy stopping at one of the many small winemakers or Strausse wine taverns for a traditional glass of Riesling, which thrives in the Moselle valley. Romantic chapels and proud hills tell of the Moselle valley's eventful history. Of particular interest is the hike to the medieval Ehrenburg castle. We recommend the following trails on the Moselle river:

Bergschluchtenpfad Ehrenburg »

Bleidenberger Ausblicke »

Eltzer Burgpanorama »

Hatzenporter Laysteig »

Koberner Burgpfad »

Pyrmonter Felsensteig »

Schwalberstieg »
